To Remember A Loved One

Grief runs its own course. It is not time that heals all wounds, but rather ourselves allowing the process of grief to be within us, with the rise and fall of each day, of each season. Our relationship to the person who has passed will determine the depth of our grief, the richness of our healing. Today marks 6 years since my mother has passed away. Although it is a day to remember her, there isn't a day that goes by without her in our thoughts, in our sense of her energy, in our fond memories, in the way we choose to live our lives.

"And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms,

slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing vibration,

Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us. They existed.

We can be. Be and be better. For they existed. "
